Merry Christmas to Everyone!!

What a wonderful Christmas Randy, Jay Jay and I had this year! We are so very blessed with all the many things we received but I would have to say the number one gift is Jesus, who came on this earth as a baby and lived a sinless life and died for all of our sins and then rose again. I am also sooo very thankful and grateful for my wonderful husband and baby. Having a baby definitely makes Christmas five million times better! Opening Jay Jay's gifts were more fun than opening mine. I can't wait for next year's Christmas!!

Happy 3 months old

Jay Jay is getting bigger and bigger. He is now 16 lbs and 26 inches long!! I can't believe how big he is getting. He now eats about ever 3- 3 1/2 hours during the day and sleeps through the night still. I am very blessed with a sweet baby. He loves his morning and wakes up talking and happy every morning. We have started noticing he loves tv. If we are watching tv and I'm feeding him he always moves his body so he can see the tv. He will also sit in my lap and watch the tv occasionally. He still loves his swing but will not be much longer that he will be able to use it. He continues to "talk" more and more everyday. I believe it won't be too much longer and he will be saying his first words. He is beginning to teeth because I have noticed he drools a lot and loves chewing on things such as his blanket, his hands, etc.

Goo Goo Gaa Gaa

Just this week it seems that Jay Jay can "truly" see me. Yes he could see me before but just this week he has seemed to follow everywhere I go with his eyes. He has also begun to imitate what I say and my voice with his. He can't make out actual words but he sure is close. He also is 85% of the way there to rolling from back to tummy. Lastly we have now noticed when we watch tv that Jay Jay will just sit there and watch the tv with us. He looooves the tv. He's such a smart boy and I love him so much!

So many milestones!

Jay Jay has been busy doing many more milestones as of late. This week I have noticed he now can bring his hands together and holds them together and reaches and grasps things. He also is now almost at the stage where he can roll from back to tummy. He gets about 75% of the way there and then goes back the other way. I know it won't be long until he's actually rolling over. He also has found out he can blow bubbles and does this constantly while jabbering about who knows what! He's such a great baby and I love him so much!

Happy Thanksgiving

I just love those little checks and would love to pinch them and kiss them! Anyways, Just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. Boy, do I have so many things to be thankful of: my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who died for my sins, my wonderful husband, and my baby Jay Jay. I could name many others but those are just a few of my things I'm thankful of. Also since Jay Jay has been sleeping through the night for a few weeks now I have made the big leap and decided to have Jay Jay sleep in his crib through the night instead of his pack and play by my bad. Hopefully he does well which he should. I have such a wonderfully sweet and good baby and am so blessed.

9 Weeks and Sleeping through the night

So thankfully my baby has been sleeping through the night for the past week. Yay! Jay Jay is getting so big and I can't believe how fast babies grow. He went to his two month appointment monday and we were informed he is 13 lbs 15 oz, 24 1/2 inches long and in the 95th percentile for height and weight. Yay!! He's a big boy it looks like. He is still on his reflux medicine and his dosage was upped due to his weight. Unfortunately he seems to not like anytime I drink milk so I have to take that out of my diet until he's six months and then I'll be able to reintroduce it into my diet and see how it goes. He was given two shots and one oral shot:( Poor baby! But he's been doing really well since having the shots. We did find out he has an umbilical hernia but not big enough for them to do surgery on. The doctor said that he could have the hernia until he's five but it will eventually go away. Also today was the first day my baby actually reached for me. He did it twice and it was the most amazing thing in the world. I love my baby so much and am so proud of him!

7 weeks

This week Jay Jay has continued to wake up only once in the middle of the night thankfully. He's very much a morning baby and will wake up happy and cooing. I love my mornings with my sweet baby boy. He has also began using his hands more and more and kicking more and more. He has began to try to grasp things and hold on to things more. He also has been sucking on his hands more and more which is adorable. I love him and am so blessed to have him. I look forward to each day with him to see what he'll do next.

6 weeks

This week Jay Jay has began only waking up once in the middle of the night. He also laughed outloud for the first time this week. I love this little man so much and fall in love with him each and every day!!
