On Sunday we had our annual Baby Dedication Ceremony. On this date our little Randy Jay Moore III was dedicated which means we prayed that as parents we would raise our child as the way the Lord would want for us to provide for him. We prayed that the Lord would lead little Jay Jay as the way he would lead and that one day Jay Jay would come to know Jesus as his personal Savior. It was a wonderful ceremony and we had many other families dedicate their children.
One of the things that was adorable that Jay did during the ceremony is that he fell asleep in the middle of it and was completely limp in Randy's arms. He's sooo adorable!
Also Jay Jay is now 6 months and will soon be 7 months on the 11th. These past few weeks we have seen Jay Jay's personality shining through. He's amazing! He rolls his tongue like crazy as wall as beginning to imitate everything everyone does. He jabbers up a storm. This past friday Jay Jay was watching us eating and began imitating us chewing. He was just chewing away at nothing, watching us. He is also eating all kind of fruits and veggie baby food, his favorite by far is butternut squash but he also enjoys: peas, green beans, and bananas. He honestly hates fruit but I have realized its when it is served cold that he hates it. He's still sleeping from 9-7:30 each day but due to his tooth on the bottom coming in he has had trouble taking his naps. He's beginning to take good naps again thankfully. He also has been fighting a yucky ear infection which he is finally over thankfully. So a very eventful month this month.

Baby Food
So this previous month we started Jay Jay on Rice Cereal and he is loving it. He eats the cereal once a day as well as still nursing every four hours. Just today we started Jay Jay on carrots. Let me just say he is not too crazy about it. When I first fed him he had the look of what in the world is in my mouth?! I plan on trying him again on carrots tomorrow and seeing if he likes it more. The plan is to feed him baby food in the afternoon and then rice cereal at night. I will try a baby food for three days and then try another one eventually moving to two baby foods and one rice cereal each day. Also my baby is saying love you a lot now. He says it at least once a day now. I know he doesn't truly understand what he's saying but still it's awesome! He gibber gabbers like crazy still. I just love him soooo much!
