Head to rump, your baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and he weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. His blood vessels are visible through his thin skin, and his ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from his head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around his nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he's born. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, but he may hide them from you during an ultrasound.(Babycenter.com)
So as all of you know on my last post I posted that we are having a boy and we are sooo extremely excited that we can't stand it! Also as many of you know I am very much a planner so now that I know what the sex of the baby is I will be going kicking it into high gear for planning mode. Last night we went to babies r us and picked out our bedding we will be registering for that way we can start painting the room and getting other ideas for our nursery. We knew we wanted a safari theme room so this is what we settled on for our nursery:
Anyways so we will begin registering soon since we will have baby showers coming up within the summer before the baby comes so like I said just trying to get everything in order. We do know what we are going to name the baby which is Randy Jay Moore III but since there are so many Randy's in his family now we will probably call him by his middle name Jay. We are so excited about everything and can't wait to actually see our baby in person and hold him!!
