How your baby's growing:
It's hard to say for sure how big your baby will be, but the average newborn weighs about 7 1/2 pounds (a small pumpkin) and is about 20 inches long. His skull bones are not yet fused, which allows them to overlap a bit if it's a snug fit through the birth canal during labor. This so-called "molding" is the reason your baby's noggin may look a little conehead-ish after birth. Rest assured — it's normal and temporary.Yes, that's right, Jay Jay is still comfortably cocooned in my belly. I thought for sure he'd be here by now so it's pretty crazy to be sitting here posting my 40 week update. Nothing new really, still feeling contractions but nothing strong enough. He's still moving around but his head is so low it's about to kill me. I wake up around 8-9 times in the middle of the night so I'm very much ready to have him. I keep waking up hoping it'll be the day. I guess we will see when it will happen. My last appointment I was 3 cm dialated and 80% effaced. My next appointment is Thursday and I am hoping they decide to induce me if I haven't had him already. I will place a post when I have him.

I thought maybe you had Jay already and someone just forgot to call us! I know you are SOOOO ready. We are still praying that he comes soon! Love ya!
He'll be here before you know it and then you'll wonder where the time went!
